Mayo county council is to proceed to contract on both the Bunadober, the Neale and Ballyhankeen, Hollymount minor flood mitigation works.

That has been confirmed this morning by local Fine Gael councillor Patsy O’Brien.

It is expected that both schemes will be completed before the end of the year 

Councillor O’Brien says he welcomes this development as important works are required in both locations.
