The Mayo hurlers are two wins from two in the Allianz National Hurling League.

Ray Larkin's side got the better of a tough Cavan side this afternoon in Tooreen.

Liam Lavin hit Mayo's goal, finishing with 1-3, while Shane Boland was on form with 0-6.

Lavin's goal put Mayo 0-12 up, but Cavan never gave up and hit two second half goals to set up an exciting finish.
