Inter-county players are generating a total economic impact of 591 million euro annually.

That's according to a new report released by the Gaelic Players Association today.

The economic assessment also claims that individual players incur an average net expense loss of 4-thousand 602 euro annually.

GPA chief executive Tom Parsons believes the sacrifices made by the intercounty players need to be recognised by the GAA.
