Holders Ulster University opened their defence of football's Sigerson Cup impressively last night.

Senan Carr and Danny Fullerton grabbed goals in either half as they won by 2-17 to 1-7 at ATU Sligo.

There's a first-round clash between local rivals St Mary's University College and Queens at 2pm this afternoon.
