Katie Taylor has been named the most admired sports star for the eighth year in a row.


Female athletes are the most respected, with Olympians Rhasidat Adeleke and Kellie Harrington completing the top 3, according to the survey of 1-thousand people by Teneo.

The Paris Olympics featured as many people's highlights, with Team Ireland voted Team of the Year.
