This weekend sees the first of the provincial club hurling finals take place in Connacht.

Galway junior champions Ballinasloe are hoping for Connacht glory and take on Sligo five in a row champions Easkey.

It’s a replay of last year’s final, won by Easkey 1-18 to 2-12.

The Sea Blues are in their fourth final in a row, and aiming for a third successive title.

This Sunday’s game will be played at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan.
