The Aghamore ladies lost out to Coolera Strandhill in a nail-biting Connacht Junior semi final today.

The sides were level at half time, 1-7 2-4, with the Aghamore goal coming from Louise Cassidy.

Cassidy goaled again in the second half, but the Sligo outfit fought back to go a point ahead late on.

Aghamore had a last minute chance to win the game from the penalty spot, but a brilliant save from Beibhinn Harte won it for Coolera Strandhill.
