Knockmore's Pearse Ruttledge had his suspension upheld last night at an appeal hearing in Hastings Insuarance MacHale Park.

The dynamic attacking midfielder picked up a red card in the semi-final win over Breaffy two weeks ago.

Knockmore had hoped to be successful on their appeal but the suspension was upheld.

It's a blow for the Saffron and Blue who like Ballina are nursing a number of injuries.
