Galway’s Shauna Bocquet was the first Irish Para-Athlete in a final today .

The Craughwell native finished 8th in the Women’s 5000 meter T54 final.

She was involved in a collision on the first bend so the race had to be restarted.

This evening sees Greta Streimikyte go in the Women’s 1500 meter T13 final.
