Castlebar Celtic have extended their lead at the top of the Elverys Sports Super League to eight points with a 2-0 win over Ballina Town today.

Meanwhile, Crossmolina got an important 4-0 win over Manulla to take them to third from bottom.

In the CastleCourt Hotel Premier League, Glenhest Rovers are now eight ahead themselves after a strong performance against Ballyhaunis Town with Pat Mulchrone adding a hat trick to his goal scoring tally.

In the Killeen Sports Ground League One table, Iorras Aontaithe now sit top with a 6-0 win over Claremorris B.

The Erris men overtake Killala on scoring difference who were held to a 2-2 draw by third place Fahy Rovers.

In McDonnell Construction League Two action, Ballina Town B won the top of the table meeting with Snugboro United to open up an eight point gap.
