Robert Finnerty broke Sligo hearts with a goal in the 71st minute of today’s Connacht SFC semi final.
Sligo took the lead two minutes into the game, and were ahead until Galway hit the net after a defensive error.
In a sun-drenched Markievicz Park, the Tribesmen just about got over the line and will defend their Connacht title against the winners of Mayo and Roscommon tomorrow.
