Mayo senior hurler Shane Boland has been nominated for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The Tooreen man hit 2-7 as May claimed the Allianz National Hurling League Division 3A title.

Three points separated the sides at the final whistle – Mayo 3-19 Sligo 3-16.

Kevin McKernan of Warwackshire and Laois’s Aaron Dunphy have also been nominated.

Players of the week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
