Swinford FC came up against a strong Salthill Devon team in Saturday's Under 19 Connacht Cup final, with the Galway side taking the silverware.

In a game played in Mervue, the current Galway league table leaders enjoyed a 5-0 win over the Mayo league winners.

It's all about Galway opposition again this weekend for teams from the Mayo Women's League.

In the Connacht Women's Cup semi-finals, Swinford will host Corrib Celtic.

Manulla, Mayo's other cup semi-finalists, will be in action in the FAI Amateur Cup, away to Knocknacarra in round one of that competition. Their Connacht Cup semi-final is rescheduled for March 10.

The Connacht Women's Shield semi-finals are also down for decision with Straide & Foxford heading up the road to Galway where they take on Mervue United.
