It wasn’t to be for the Ballyhaunis Community School senior footballers this afternoon.

They were beaten by two points by St Malachy’s of Castlewellan in the All Ireland Senior C semi final.

The sides could not be separated after normal time, finishing 1-9 each.

St Malachy’s pushed on with a strong finish and now march on to the national decider.
