London have beaten Mayo in the FBD League quarter final in a shock victory this afternoon.

The Exiles were one point winners in what was an impressive defensive performance.

Inside forward Shane Rafter was in top form for London, leading the line as they had a better conversion rate than Kevin McStay's side.

They now meet Roscommon in the semi final of the competition.

There will now be new FBD League champions, and Galway will meet Leitrim in the other semi final.

Mayo will be out again next for the opening round of the national league in three weeks against Galway.
