Straide & Foxford booked their Mayo Women's Cup semi-final place with a comfortable 3-0 win over Ballinrobe Town in the sole fixture to be played on Friday evening.

S&F are currently top of the table in Division One and brought that good form to south Mayo to end Ballinrobe's involvement in the cup.

No. 11 Orla McHale opened the scoring on 11 minutes and added to her tally in the 57th minute. Natasha Gaughan made the victory secure with a goal 10 minutes from the end.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

The Mayo Women's League has selected Straide & Foxford United ace Orla McHale as the June recipient of the McHale Agri Forest and Garden Player of the Month award.

This follows some very impressive individual displays which helped her team into a position to challenge for honours. Orla has been central to a very successful month for her club in both the league and cup.
