Sligo have climbed the ranks in the Christy Ring Cup after an away win against Tyrone.

Andy Kilcullen hit 0-8 as they overcame the Red Hand by a single point. 

 

Roscommon suffered defeat at the hands of Donegal, putting a roadblock in their way towards Nicky Rackard Cup success.

Mickey Joe Egan was the man in form for the Rossies with 2-6, but Donegal's scoring prowess proved stronger on the day.

 

Elsewhere, Galway snatched a point in their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship second round game against Kilkenny.

Henry Shefflin returned to Kilkenny with a Galway side that put up a good scoring with 0-7 from Evan Niland and 1-4 from Brian Concannon.

Substitute Declan McLoughlin hit the equaliser deep into added time to salvage a point for the Tribesmen.
