Ciara and Tara Needham of Louisburgh have both been named in the Yoplait HEC All Star team following the 2023 O'Connor Cup campaign.

Tara was part of the DCU Dóchas Éireann side that won the championship outright at the University of Galway Air Dome at the Connacht COE in Bekan.

Twin Ciara was part of the UL team who were beaten finalists on the day.

Tara earned a spot in the team's attack, while Ciara is in at midfield.

Meanwhile, Kilkerrin Clonbeirne's Nicola Ward of UL has been selected at centre half back.

There's also a place for Claire Dunne in the team - the St Farnan's and Sligo footballer is picked at right corner back after a strong showing for DCU DÉ.
