Aoife O'Rourke and Kellie Harrington  are both guaranteed at least bronze medals at the Strandja International tournament in Sofia.

Olympic champion Harrington beat Kazakhstan's Aidana Zabynbekova to progress to the lightweight last four.

While Castlerea boxer Aoife O'Rourke registered a unanimous win over Davina Michel  in the middleweight division.

However, Ireland's Michaela Walsh was beaten by Russian featherweight, Liudmila Vorontsova.
