The Connacht Indoor Athletics  Championships for seniors and masters were held at Athlone TUS arena on Saturday evening February 19.

Mayo AC had 6 athletes competing among over 150 seniors and masters, including guests.

They were rewarded with an excellent total of 11 medals. 

These are the details of the Mayo AC performances.

Women's 400m: Noelle Kilduff finished first of two W35 competitors in 68:33 to win gold.

Men's 400m:  was won in a new championship best time by Robert McDonnell GCH in 47:12 beating the old record by 4 seconds.

Keith Conroy finished fifth M35 in 60:92

Women's 200m was won by Lauren Cadden senior Sligo AC in 24:49

Noelle Kilduff finished first W35 32:01 

Men 200m : Senior Declan Owens won gold in a fastest indoor time: 24:33; while masters all rounder Patrick Moran won gold m60 33:87; Keith Conroy was third M35 26:11

Women's 60m won by Lauren Cadden Sligo AC 7:76; Noelle Kilduff finished first W35 in 9:21

Men's senior 60m won in 7:42 by Reakwon Lucciano Castlegar AC. Declan Owens was third in 7:53 - his second fastest time. Keith Conroy was third M35 in 8:06.

High Jump Patrick Moran gold M50 on count back- 1.25m  and gold M60 200m in 33:87

Men's 4x200m relay (2 teams) : 

1 Mayo AC Sean Hynes, Declan Owens, Keith Conroy, John Brennan 1:47.06; 

2 Sligo AC : 2:01.09
