In the Sigerson Cup last night, University of Limerick had an easy win over IT Sligo.

Kerry star David Clifford was the top scorer for the Limerick college, scoring 1-5.

Mayo's Eoghan McLaughlin also scored a goal for UL, while Knockmore's Connell Dempsey scored a point.

It finished UL 4-15, IT Sligo 0-7.

 

Elsewhere last night, DCU defeated Maynooth University by 2-17 to 1-09,

and Letterkenny IT were 1-13 to 1-11 winners over IT Carlow.

 

NUI Galway are in action in Round One of the Sigerson Cup this evening.

The Galway side take on Ulster University in Whitehall, Dublin at 7pm.
