Three young boxers from across the region are in action at the U22 European Championships in Italy this afternoon.

Monivea’s Adam Hession, Oughterard’s Kieran Molloy and Sligo’s Dean Clancy are competing in their respective quarter-finals.

First up is Clancy in the 63kg weight class at 2pm, followed by Molloy in the 69kg weight class at 3pm and Hession in the 56kg weight class at 3:15pm.
