Louth scuppered Sligo’s chances of reaching a Division 4 semi-final this afternoon.

The Wee County exerted more pain on Tony McEntee’s side in St Geraldines Club, on a score line of 3-18 to 1-14.

The Yeats County were leading Louth at halftime by 1-9 to 0-9.

However, Mickey Harte’s men drove on in the second half to book a semi-final spot away to Carlow.
