The Galway footballers suffered a seismic defeat to Kerry in their Division One South Allianz Football League opener.

The Kingdom ran riot in Austin Stack Park in Tralee, coming out comfortable winners by 4-21 to 0-11.

The reigning League champions made their intentions known early in this clash, leading 2-10 to 0-6 at the break.
