The 2021 Virtual Run for Boylo was an overwhelming success at the weekend.

The Boyle family has today thanked all who took part and contributed to the event - locally, nationally and internationally.

Fr. Padraig Costello, the Parish of Priest of Foxford formally blessed the Virtual event at the start.

Videos and photos of 5 and 10km run/walks  were uploaded by participants and the Boyle family say it made the weekend very special. The annual event is organised in memory of Martin Boyle who died in a road collision.

Local charities and causes will now benefit from the generosity shown and monies will be distributed in the coming weeks.
