Leona Maguire finished in a share of 6th place at the LPGA Drive On Championship in Florida.

The Cavan golfer ended up on 5 under par, 10 shots behind the winner Austin Ernst

Two late birdies gave the 26-year old a tie for 6th place, finishing on 5 under,  moving up to 13th on the Order of Merit list.

Leona is an Honorary Member of Castlerea Golf Club, where her aunt Mary Calleary is a member.

Both Leona and her twin sister Lisa - who's also a professional golfer - played an exhibition match on the Castlerea course in recent years which attracted a huge number of members to watch the young ladies as they started out on the professional circuit.
