Irishtown native Abbiegayle Ronayne has signed for Athlone Town AFC Ladies.

The former Ballinrobe Town player has previously played for Sligo Rovers Under 17s in 2018 and Galway WFC in 2019, where she was a key player their Under 17 team that won the league and cup double.

In September of 2019 the experienced Women's National League player made her debut for the Galway WFC senior team, which saw her called into the Ireland Under 19s set-up.
