Raff Cretaro has announced his retirement from League of Ireland Football.

The Finn Harps player made the announcement this afternoon on Twitter.

The 39-year-old spent 17 seasons with Sligo Rovers winning the league along with two FAI Cup winners medals.

The Tubbercurry man was also Rovers record all-time league appearance holder, playing 531 times for the bit o’red.
