The Mayo Ladies have missed out on a place in the All-Ireland semi-finals.

They suffered a 4-12 to 1-16 to Armagh in Parnell Park this afternoon.

A sucker-punch goal from Catherine Marley in the final minute put the result beyond doubt.

At halftime it was 2-6 to 0-11 in favour of the Orchard County.

Peter Leahy's side bow out of the competition at what is essentially the quarter-final stage.

Armagh will go on to face a Dublin team seeking four-in-a-row All-Ireland titles.
