Sinéad Diver recorded a brilliant 8th place at the 40th London marathon today

The Belmullet woman completed the race in 2:27.06 just under three minutes outside her London 2019 pb 2:24.11.

She gave a great display throughout the nineteen laps in central London circling St James’s Park with cardboard cutouts and hoardings lining the route instead of the usual cheering thousands.

Sinèad’s performance underlines her consistent marathon form and reinforces her qualification for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
