Sligo Rovers have signed Lithuanian defender Sigitas Olberkis for the rest of the 2020 season.

The 23-year old joins from Maltese club, Senglea Athletic.

He's a former Under-21 international and has also played in belarus and Latvia.

As Lithuania is currently on Ireland's green list, Olberkis does not have to quarantine for a fortnight upon his arrival.

He's hoping to train with the team tomorrow.
