Galway eased to a 17 point win over 14-man Westmeath this afternoon in Pearse Stadium in the Allianz National Hurling League.

Shane O’Neill’s first game League game in charge of the Tribesmen resulted in a 1-24 to 0-10 win.

Next up for Galway is a trip to Limerick next Sunday.
