Three Mayo footballers were a part of the Republic of Ireland U15 squad who defeated England in an international friendly.

It finished 3-1 in favour of the boys in Green yesterday.

Jason Donoghue’s side impressed this season winning a UEFA Developmental Tournament in Mayo and also beating Poland twice in Galway.

Included in the Ireland squad were Mayo’s Conor Walsh, Daniel Kelly and Adam Nugent.
