Tooreen were crowned Mayo Senior Hurling champions today after they defeated a defiant Castlebar Mitchels challenge by two points.

It finished in Machale Park Tooreen 0-18 to 1-13 Castlebar Mitchels.

Tooreen now go on to play Four Roads in the Connacht Intermediate Championship.
