Galway forward Damien Comer is targeting a return to action in the middle of June.

Comer broke a bone in his foot at Christmas and missed the entire League campaign after having surgery.

He'll miss the Tribesmen's Connacht Senior Football Championship opener at London and a potential semi-final against Sligo next month but he hopes to return soon after that.
