Gardaí have launched an investigation into a burglary in County Roscommon earlier today.

An incident of aggravated burglary occurred at a home on the outskirts Athlone, Co. Roscommon at approximately 1:00am this morning (February 11).

Gardaí responded to the incident, and received no reports of injuries.

Investigations are ongoing at this time.
