Gardaí in Castlerea attended the scene of a road traffic collision which occurred at around 10:45am this morning on St Patrick’s Street in the town.

A female pedestrian aged in her 80s received non-life-threatening injuries and was brought by ambulance to Sligo University Hospital.

Diversions are in place while the road is cleared.

Gardai say enquiries ongoing.
