A Status Yellow fog warning remains in place for the entire country this morning.

Met Éireann issued the warning yesterday afternoon, which then began at 8:00pm yesterday evening.

Motorists are experiencing difficult travelling conditions across the region this morning as a result.

Areas of dense fog are continuing to develop, leading to impaired visibility for motorists.

The warning remains in place until 11:00am this morning.
