An Garda Síochána have highlighted an incident in County Roscommon whereby road safety standards were not being adhered to.

The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit pulled in the driver of a tractor in Elphin yesterday afternoon after a call from a member of the public.

The driver of the tractor was a 15 year old and had no license.

In addition, there was no insurance or tax on the vehicle.
