Almost 73 thousands students who sat the Junior Cycle examination will receive their results today.

It's the first year numbers exceeded 70 thousand - and it was an increase of 8 point 5 per cent on the 2022 figure.

The results will be made available to schools from 9 o'clock this morning through the SEC Schools Portal - which is a full week earlier than last year.
