The Green Manufacturer Award, top prize at the 2024 Green Awards, was recently won my Aurivo Cooperative.

This award is open to organizations across the country, rewarded for their demonstration in commitment, innovation and action in managing operations sustainably.

Among the sustainability achievements listed for Aurivo in the Green Awards Entry include one local project.

A Solar PV installation at Balla Mart has been included, which provides renewable electricity on site as well as exporting renewable electricity to the grid.

Others on the list include the launch of the Aurivo Farm Solar Programme as well as the introduction of 30% recycled plastic content into their Nutrias Animal Feed bags.
