12 communities across Ireland are going to benefit from a new project aimed at preventing problem drinking by young people.

The Building Safer Communities intiative is being launched today and will be set up in areas such as Ballymun, Letterkenny and Listowell.

Alcohol Forum Ireland are helping to launch the event this morning which takes alcohol prevention lessons from the WHO and attempts to implement them in an Irish context.
