Gardaí received report of the unauthorised taking of a car, which occurred at a domestic premises in Crossmolina last nigh at approximately 9.45pm.

A male (30’s) has been arrested and is currently detained at a Garda station in the Mayo area under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
