A Status Yellow Low Temperature and Ice warning remains in place until 10:00am this morning.

Met Éireann are advising that it will continue to be cold this morning with icy conditions.

The warning came into effect at 9:00pm last night.

Meanwhile, snow has been reported in parts of Munster this morning.

Some schools there and across the country have sent texts to parents about later opening times due to bad conditions.
