An Garda Síochána are appealing to the public to be cautious on roads across the region this morning.

With temperatures going below zero places overnight, patches of ice are making driving conditions difficult for motorists.

A number of vehicles have gone off the road in the Ballyhaunis area as a result this morning.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
