A Mayo TD has raised concerns with Government over the challenges being faced by young farmers across the region.

Young farmers are currently not eligible to participate in environmental schemes such as ACRES.

Deputy Alan Dillon says more needs to be there to incentivise young farmers to pursue the profession.
