A children's charity is making an appeal for unwanted gifts this Christmas.

Barnardos is calling on the public to donate any excess toys, clothes, shoes and books to its shops across the country.

All money generated will go towards the charity’s work in 2024.

Bernadette Harrington, who is retail manager at Barnardos, says they would be thrilled to receive people's unwanted gifts.
