Close to 30 million euro in TV licence revenue has been lost this year, after the payments controversy at RTE.

Over 124 million euro was collected up to December 10th, 27 million less than last year.

While it's expected a quarter of people will have refused to pay the fee by the end of 2023, double the figure for 2022.
