The National Lottery wasn't able to broadcast part of last night's games because of "technical difficulties".

It's believed the Lotto Plus 1 draw machine began selecting balls earlier than it should have.

In a statement the company says there is no issue with the "integrity of the draw or the numbers drawn".

As per standard procedure, the draw is still recorded - and the results were later published.
