A clean up operation is continuing in many parts of the country this morning following the aftermath of Storm Babet.

In Cork, hundreds of people have had their homes and businesses destroyed since the bad weather began on Wednesday.

In Midleton, the main street was turned into a river while cars and belongings were swept away in major floods.
